Quasinormal Modes in Three-Dimensional Time-Dependent Anti-de-Sitter Spacetime

Abstract We study the massless scalar wave propagation in the time dependent Banados Teitelboim-Zanelli black hole background. It is shown that in the quasinormal ringing, both the decay and the oscillation timescales are modified in the time-dependent background.
