Abstract In this paper, the free energies of solid and liquid phase of two-dimensional Collins ternary system have been given, the equations of phase equilibrium between solid and liquid have been found. The “cigar” type of solid-liquid phase transition has been discussed. The phase diagrams obtained are similar to those of the three-dimensional true alloy system.
