Abstract The magnetic moments and Curie temperatures of amorphous Fe90-XCoXZr10(0x90) alloys have been measured experimentally. For x 30, the great enhancement of the magnetic moment is explained by the increase of magnetic moment of iron atoms and the existence of two magnetic regions, while the increase of the Curie temperature with Co content is interpreted by the interactions of Fe-Co atoms which will be larger than that of Fe-Fe and Co-Co.
