This note shows that the nontrivial third order cohomology cycle for gauge group implies the existence of anomalous associative law and consequently anomaly for Jacobi identity.

Many scientists hypothesized that the presence of oxygen is necessary for the formation and stabilization of the metastable high T

Ge phase in Nb-Ge films. In our previous work we proposed that a certain amount of Nb

A class of spatially dependent exact solutions of the Boltzmann equation for a gas of monatomic Maxwell molecules is obtained and discussed. The similarity solution describing a gas uni-formly flying away proposed by Bobylev

is included in this class as a special case.

COULD THE NEW PARTICLE (8.32) BE A HIGGS?

Possibilities of (8.32) being an 0

Higgs are examined. Possible mixrings between Higgs and corresponding bottomia are considered. It seems that the ratio B
r
[ T ( 2s ) → γ ]/ B
r
[ T ( 1s ) → γ ]<0.22 could hardly be understood if is an 0
-+
Higgs, but may be understood if is an 0

Higgs.

EMC EFFECT AND THE DISTORTION OF THE VACUUM IN NUCLEI

Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (

Abstract
PDF

Based on the argument that the bag radius of a bounded nucleon is larger than that of a free one due to the change of vacuum property in nucleus, a good fit is obtained for the EMC effect.

TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF INDUCED MAGNETIC ANISOTROPIES IN NEARLY NON-MAGNETOSTRICTIVE METALLIC GLASSES
CHEN Du-xing and DAI Li-zhi
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (
2
): 71-74 .
Abstract
PDF
(pc) (54KB) (

The temperature dependence of magnetization- and strain-induced magnetic anisotropy constants is reported in two nearly non-magnetostrictive CoFeSiB based metallic glasses. It is in accordance with the single-ion theory of uniaxial magnetic anisotropy. It seems that this theory can be regarded as a basis for discussing the nature of induced magnetic anisotropy in some metallic glasses.

The magnetic moments and Curie temperatures of amorphous Fe
90-X
Co
X
Zr

(0x90) alloys have been measured experimentally. For x 30, the great enhancement of the magnetic moment is explained by the increase of magnetic moment of iron atoms and the existence of two magnetic regions, while the increase of the Curie temperature with Co content is interpreted by the interactions of Fe-Co atoms which will be larger than that of Fe-Fe and Co-Co.

A study of the anisotropy of primary cosmic rays is presented. The expression of the anisotropy was derived in a model of discrete sources in an infinite galaxy. Using these derived formulas, the amplitudes of the first harmonic anisotropy caused by eleven supernovae nearby the Earth were calculated individually and the trend of the resultant anisotropy was investigated. It was found that the expected results can account for the power law of E

of the anisotropy above an energy 5x10

eV, and the Compton-Getting effect is responsible for the anisotropies in the energy range 10

In this paper, we point out that the spectrum of the quasar UM663 can not be explained by photoionization models; on the contrary, it can be explained by the theory of Cerenkov line radiation. The Cerenkov redshift Δλ
c
( 24Å )of the emission line Lα of this quasar has been estimated from the position of Nv absorption line in the Lα-Nv profile.

PRESSURE DEPENDENCE OF DEEP LEVELS IN Gap
REN Shang-yuan
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (
2
): 93-94 .
Abstract

(pc) (39KB) (

The pressure dependence of deep energy levels associated with substitutional point defects in GaP is investigated using an approach proposed before. A deep level can be driven out of the gap into the valence bands, if this level is caused by a P-substitutional defect and located sufficiently close to the valence band maxim in the unpressurized solid. No deep level can be driven into the gap from the conduction bands by the pressure. The theoretical calculations are in good agreement with the experimental results.
