Abstract The precisions and its sources of spatial resolutions of tracking chambers and mass resolutions of dimuon signals in ALICE Dimuon Forward Spectrometer are explored by tracking and reconstruction of AliRoot software. The dependences of γ mass resolution on spatial resolution of tracking chambers are presented with and without background events through simulations.
