Abstract Dynamics of spiral tip rotating in a closed system of the light sensitive Belousov--Zhabotinsky reaction is studied under a homogeneous and steady illumination. The time dependence of the kinematical parameters of meandering spiral is presented and the experimental evidence is obtained for self-synchronization of the spiral tip in a closed B-Z system without external feedback.
