Abstract A model of photon-hypersonic phonon interaction is proposed. The evolution of macroscopic quantum superposition states is analyzed, including the wave function and number distribution. It is shown that a superposition state of hypersonic phonon modes can be generated in the case of nondetuning and no losses.
