Colored Particle Acceleration by Fluctuations in Quark-Gluon Plasma

Abstract The energy variation of a parton passing through a quark-gluon plasma(QGP) is discussed by taking into account nonlinear polarization effect. It is found that the parton can be accelerated by fluctuations in QGP, which gives a new physical insight about the response of QGP to such external current.
