Abstract We elaborate the quantum Yang-Mills inflationary model. We find that a slow-rolling inflation occurs naturally in the presence of a thermal component produced by the decay of Yang-Mills condensate. The magnitude of cosmic perturbation is found to be closer to the observed value than that of scalar inflationary models.
