Abstract The exact solitary wave solutions of the extended Burgers-Fisher equation
∂u/∂t + αuδ∂u/∂x - ∂2u/∂x2 = βu(1-uδ) are obtained by using a simple and effective nonlinear transformation. The results are the generalization of the former work.
