Abstract We have designed and made an rf-capacitive transducer for the square antenna of our laboratory. A variable capacitor ( ~2000 PF), which is modulated by gravitational radiation, works in a 5 MHz resonant circuit. The most advantageous feature of this transducer is that the sensitivity is highly improved by introducing a π-net-work transformation in the resonant circuit. The sensitivity of 9.4MHz/M is obtained.
