Abstract Powder neutron diffraction measurements have been carried out on the Al-Mn quasicrystal at room temperature. Nine diffraction peaks of the quasicrystal phase were observed, and indexed on the basis of six independent reciprocal vectors pointing to the vertices of an icosahedron.
