Abstract Following Schommers’ viewpoint on time, we give radiation time a reasonable definition. We realize the radiation phase quantization by supposing that a radiation-matter interaction process is an eigen state of radiation time operator. The successful application to the transport through a quantum dot turnstile in a radiation field leads to quantized current formula.
