Abstract In this article we discuss the problem of one-way image transmission through multi-layer of thin distorting media: a special case of thick distorter. We prove the possibility of transmitting image through two layers, as well as multi-layer, of thin distorting media via degenerate four-wave mixing. The theoretical analysis is verified by the experimental results for two thin distorters.
