ONE-WAY IMAGE TRANSMISSION THROUGH MULTI-LAYER OF THIN DISTORTING MEDIA
LIN Hong, ZHANG Hongjun, DAI Jianhua
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 385-388 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (52KB) ( 424 )
In this article we discuss the problem of one-way image transmission through multi-layer of thin distorting media: a special case of thick distorter. We prove the possibility of transmitting image through two layers, as well as multi-layer, of thin distorting media via degenerate four-wave mixing. The theoretical analysis is verified by the experimental results for two thin distorters.

THE SIGNATURE OF D°-D°MIXING AT AN e+e- COLLIDER IS CLEAN
DU Dongsheng, WU Dandi*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 389-392 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (40KB) ( 396 )
We give a general formula of doubly tagged cross sections for small mixing D°-D°systems. The contamination from doubly Cabibbo suppressed nonleptonic decags to the like–sign events may be cancelled if the neutral pseudoscalar meson pair is in the C-parity odd state which happens in the e+e- collider at ψ" resonance.

ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE AND ACTIVATION ENERGY OF AMORPHOUS Ni-Si-B ALLOY FILM
CHENG Xianan*, SONG Ruan**, CHEN Bingyu, WANG Xuwei*, CHEN Jinchang***
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 393-396 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (49KB) ( 462 )
The sheet resistance Rs and temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) α (25-100°C) of amorphous Ni68Si15B17 films have been measured. The structure of films with Rs between 80-550Ω/sq. are more stable and have a lower TCR ( 10-6K-1-10-5K-1). In this range of Rs, TCR may change its sign, and the activation energy is much larger.

EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION OFTHE SPIN-ROTATION COUPLING IN NaXe MOLECULES
HOU Meiying, FENG Baohua, ZHANG Jian, SHE Yongbo, MI Zhonglu, CHEN Tianjie*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 397-400 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (52KB) ( 753 )
The mean spin-rotation coupling γN of NaXe rnolecules is measmed by observing the sodium spin relaxation rate. It is in reasonable agreement with a recently presented theoretical expression.
ON THE TOPOLOGICAL ASPECT OF THE LOOPS IN U( N ) GAUGE THEORIES
LOU Qinghuan
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 401-404 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (39KB) ( 411 )
The topological aspect of the loops which wind themselves any times is investigated in detail. It is showm that the Schwinger-Dyson equations of the loops with the winding numbers larger than N give no extra physical information.
MOVING DEFECT WITH IRREVERSIBLE DEFORMATION ZONE AND CRITERION OF NONLINEAR DYNAMIC FRACTURE OF SOLIDS
FAN Tianyou
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 405-408 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (46KB) ( 430 )
This letter reports a fully dynamic analysis of a moving defect with a plastic zone. The fields of stress and displacement of this defect are determined, so that the opening displacement at the tip of the defect is obtained. Based on it the author proposes a criterion of nonlinear dynamic fracture of solids.
THE DONNACHIE-LANDSHOFF MODEL AND Σ-p ELASTIC SCATTERING
Mujahid Kamran
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 409-412 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (47KB) ( 374 )
Using the Σ- form factor it is shown that the Donnachie-Landshoff pomeron gives a good description of the high energy total and elastic differential cross-section data for Σ-p scattering.

EXCITED EMISSION AND SELF-FREQUENCY-DOUBLING EFFECT OF NdxY1-xAl3(BO3)4 CRYSTAL
LU Baosheng, WANG Jun, PAN Hengfu, JIANG Minhua, LIU Enquan*, HOU Xueyuan*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 413-416 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (49KB) ( 589 )
Using dye laser as pumping light source, we have first realized on NYAB crystal the laser self-frequency doubling run from 1.06μm to 0.53μm . The threshold energy is less than 4mJ; conversion efficiency is 6.2%, and the self-frequency-doubling green light output energy is 2.5mJ.
PARAMETRIC WAVEFORMS AND SPECTRA OF THE PRIMARY PULSES WITH TWO KINDS OF ENVELOPES
QIAN Zuwen, SHAO Daoyuan
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 417-420 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (49KB) ( 537 )
The integral of the pulse self-demodulation in acoustic parametric array can be calculated in light of the Fourier convolution theorem. Instead of a rectangular pulse with two discontinuous edges, two kinds of primary envelopes are used, the waveforms and their spectra are investigated. An optimal ratio of the primary duration has been found theoretically. Experimental results support this theory.
A MICROSCOPIC CALCULATION OF THE ISOVECTOR MAGNETIC MODE IN DEFORMED NUCLEI
LI Zhuxia
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 421-424 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (43KB) ( 344 )
A microscopic calculation has been carried out based on the random phase approximation (RPA) with deformed Woods-Saxon basis for kπ = 1+ rnode in deformed nuclei. The calculation shows that the orbital part of the magnetic dipole ( Ml ) operator plays a dominant role in exciting M1 (kπ = 1+ ) mode. A fragmentation of the strength in the energy range of 2-4MeV has been found.

ACCEPTOR LEVELS IN ZERO-GAP Hg1-xCdxTe CRYSTAL
LIANG Yong, ZHENG Guozhen, TANG Dingyuan
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 425-428 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (55KB) ( 649 )
The anomalous dips A1A2 of mobility of zero-gap Hg1-xCdxTe in temperature range about 12K and 28K have been studied. The Hall coefficients vs. temperature are measured in high magnetic field. It shows that instead of the interband optical phonon scattering, the anomalous dip A2 is caused by the acceptor resonant state.

CONTINUOUS TIME RANDOM WALKS WITH MOMENTLESS WAITING TIME DISTRIBUTIONS
WEN Chao, LIU Fusui*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1986, 3 (9): 429-432 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (38KB) ( 525 )
Continuous time random walk (CTRW) is studied in the case of momentless waiting time distributions with long-time tail t, 0 < α < 1. It is found that the hopping event set is a well defined random fractal whose fractal (Hausdorff) dimension is α, and if one quantity of discrete time random walk R(n) [e.g., S(n) the number of distinct sites visited up to step n ] has scaling exponent β > 0, then its corresponding quantity of CTRW R(T) (e.g., S ( t ) the number of distinct sites visited up to time t) has scaling exponent αβ.
