Abstract : We use nondegenerate four-wave mixing to study the spatial resolution of photorefractive semi-insulating multiple quantum wells grown by molecular beam epitaxy. By optimizing the experimental conditions, we have demonstrated that our sample has spatial resolution up to 2.5μm, which approaches the theoretical limit. We also analyse the factors that affect the spatial resolution of multiple quantum wells.
