Abstract For a typical photonic crystal fiber with two zero-dispersion wavelengths, we theoretically demonstrate a new way to generate supercontinuum using an input pulse of 30 fs duration and 10 kW peak power for providing a compact and cost effective light source to the ultra-broadband time-resolved coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering spectroscopy.
