A New Method for Determination of Sublimation Energy |

Abstract Sublimation energy is the latent heat of phase transition from solid state directly to gas state, but it is difficult to measure experimentally. We propose a new method to determine the sublimation energy of materials by using the experimental data of blow-off impulse induced by electron beam and the computer program DRAM. With this new method, the sublimation energy of polyester is finally determined to be about 1.1kJ/g.
