Abstract Employing the Holstein-Primakoff transformation and the coherent state ansatz, we obtain two partial differential equations of motion from Hamiltonian. Using the method of multiple scalar, we reduce these equations into a nonlinear Schrodinger equation and get the single soliton solution. These results show that solitary magnon localization in antiferromagnet Ni(C2H8N2)2NO2C1O4is possible.
