Abstract The quark and gluon distributions in nuclei are investigated by a parton model, where the common partons of several nucleons and the non-nucleonic components are considered. The comparisons of this model with the data for F₂^A₁(x)/F₂^A₂(x) and the recent data for G_Sn(x)/G_C(x) are also present.
