Abstract The wave equation of nonlinear magnetostatic surface waves (MSSW) on ferromagnetic films is derived and its solution is found. The nonlinear dispersion relation of MSSW in discussed. Our Result shows that the wave power has a little effect to the frequency shift of MSSW with lower frequency, but has a considerably larger effect to that with higher frequency within the band.
