Structure of the Ground Rotation Band of the Na+3 Molecular Ion

Abstract A complete set of quantum numbers for the eigenstates of the Na+3 system has been introduced. The structure of the ground rotation band has been deduced based on symmetry considerations. This band is found to be different from that of H+3, though they are similar in dynamics.
