Abstract： A new method for quantitatively evaluating the alignment degree of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets by x-ray diffraction spectra has been proposed. It has been experimentally revealed that the strong (105) reflection existed in almost all x-ray diffraction spectra of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets stems from the misalignment grains whose easy axes are at an angle of 15.5°with respect to the orientated direction of the magnet.
