Low-Spin Identical Bands in Non-adjacent Odd-A and Even-Even Nuclei
-
Abstract
A great number of low-spin identical bands in pairs of odd-A and their non-adjacent even-even nuclei in a region of A = 150 - 190 are found, this fact seems to support the idea that the occurrence of identical bands in neighboring odd-A and even-even nuclei is caused by the cancellation of various factors which influence the moments of inertia of nuclei.
