Quantum Phase of a Moving Dipole and Berry’s Phase

Abstract
The quantum phase of a moving dipole as it encircles an infinite line of magnetic charge, recently discovered by Wilkens (Phys. Rev. Lett. 72 (1994) 5), is derived as a special case of Berry’s phase.
