Energy Straggling Measurements of l6O and l9F ions in Au and CaF2

Abstract
Energy stragglings of l6O and l9F were measured with heavy-substrate Rutherford backscattering technique. Great deviation was observed between present data and Bohr’s prediction. The accuracy of present experiment is about 10%.
