An Extremely High Coercivity in Cu Doped Bi,Ga: DyIG Films for Magneto-optical Recording

Abstract
Bi, Ga : DyIG and Cu doped Bi, Ga : DyIG films on glass substrates have been prepared by the pyrolysis method, and their coercive force (Hc) and compensation temperature were measured. An extremely high Hc value of 13kOe at room temperature was obtained in Cu doped Bi, Ga : DyIG films.
