Two-Photon Absorption in Polydiacetylene-Toluene Sulfonate

Abstract
The two-photon absorption process has been investigated on polydiacetylene-toluene sulfonate. The two-photon absorption coefficient has been derived within tight-binding approximation and its numerical calculation bas been carried out. The results are discussed in terms of quasi-one-dimensional excitons on the polymer backbones.
