Second Harmonic Generation in a KNbO3 Slab Waveguide

Abstract
An experiment of second harmonic generation in a KNbO3 slab waveguide u reported. A power conversion efficiency of 11.3% and a slope efficiency of 17% have been obtained in a 93μm waveguide pumped by a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The oscillation output with increase of the beam diameter is due to the interference effect in waveguide.
