A NEW METHOD STUDYING SURFACE PROPERTIES OF A VACUUM SYSTEM

Abstract
A brief gas puffing method has been used to determine the amount of adsorbed gas on the surface of a vacuum system when the pressure in the system is changed. The adsorbed gas is found to correspond to one monomolecular layer in this experiment.
