PHOTOACOUSTIC STUDY ON SPECTRAL PROPERTIES OF OPTICAL FILMS
-
Abstract
Photoacoustic method is developed to directly determine the absorption spectrum of optical films. For weak absorption, it has a higher precision than conventional spectrophotometric methods. With the aid of a carbon-black film, it can also be used to determine the transmission and reflection spectra. Measurements of some typical optical films are illustrated.
