MARTENSITIC TRANSFORMATION, THERMOMAGNETIC PROPERTIES AND ELECTRONIC RESISTIVITY OF AMORPHOUS ALLOYS (Fe1-xNix)84B16 AFTER CRYSTALLIZATION

  • In the reduced curves of electronic resistivity and thermomagnetic measurement of the amorphous alloys, (Fe1-xNix)84B16 with 0.02< x <0.08, preheated to a temperature higher than that of crystallization, an anomalous abruption at about 150°C was observed. The results of differential thermal analysis (DTA) and of X-ray diffraction show that after crystallization of the amorphous alloys (Fe1-xNix)84B16 the anomalous abruption can be attributed to the martensitic transformation of γFe(Ni) to αFe(Ni).
