ORIGIN OF THE EASY CONE OF R2Fe14B (R = Nd, Ho)
-
Abstract
The crystal field parameters B°2, B-22, B°4, and B44 are determined Empirically on the basis of one sublattice model. These parameters can account for the major magnetic anisotropy of all of R2Fe14B (R: rare-earth) including the easy cone of Nd2Fe14B and Ho2Fe14B at 4.2K.
