COMBINED EFFECT OF VARIOUS FACTORS ON THE GAIN SATURATION IN GAS FLOW LASERS

Abstract
A theory is presented for the combined effect of convection, cross relaxation and band-width of incident beam on the saturation processes of a gas flow laser with an inhomogeneously broadened line. Some new saturation relationships are deduced.
