Collapse and Revival of Supercurrent in Mesoscopic Josephson Junctions in the Presence of Nonclassical Electromagnetic Field
-
Abstract
Dynamic behavior of the supercurrent in a mesoscopic Josephson junction in the presence of a nonclassical electromagnetic field is investigated. It is shown that for the squeezed state the time evolution of the supercurrent can exhibit quantum collapse and revival phenomenon, while for the coherent state the phenomenon does not occur.
