THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE ORDER PARAMETER IN JOSEPHSON TUNNELLING JUNCTION

The distribution of the order parameter in a Josephson junction has been investigated theoretically. There are upper and lower critical thicknesses d_c and d_m in a Josephson junction. The tunnelling junction is a normal superconductor when d < d_m , and a Josephson junction when d_m < d < d_c , and a single electron tunnelling junction when d > d_c.
