OPTICAL SUM-FREQUENCY GENERATION IN TRANSMISSION WITH TWO COUNTERPROPAGATING SPWs

Abstract
The enhancement of optical sum-frequency generation (SFG) is calculated in Kretschmann's ATR configuration with the excitation of two counter-propagating SPWs. The experimental result is in good agreement with the theoretical calculation.
