A Phase-Perturbation Technique for Light Scattering from Randomly Dielectric Rough Surfaces
-
Abstract
With the theory of rough surfaces scattering, a numerical formula for calculating the bistatic and backscattering radar cross section from randomly dielectric rough surfaces is derived by using phase-perturbation technique. The backscattering laser radar cross sections per unit of some rough samples are computed at λ = 1.06μm. The numerical results are in good agreement with experimental data.
