Extra-Dimensional Cosmology with a Traversable Wormhole

We discuss many interesting and attractive features of a higher-dimensional cosmology with a static traversable wormhole dominated by a variable effective cosmological constant depending on the scale factor a(t) as Λ_effective =Ca^-2+Λ₀, where C and Λ₀ are positive constants.
