A new characterization of the angular distribution of electron ejected from n'pns autoionizing states in the alkaline-earth atoms has been carried out from the most general expression of differential cross section of photoabsorption. The same approach may be extended to more complicated cases where the traditional treatment becomes invalid. The comparison between the two methods is presented.
