Properties of MnBiTe and MnBiTeAl Magnetic Thin Films
-
Abstract
MnBiTe and MnBiTeAl thin films prepared by vacuum evaporation, then annealing can form NiAs crystal structure and possess strong perpendicular anisotropy along c axis. The entering of A1 atoms into MnBiTe results in the increase of Ku, Hc, k and a modulation of its Kerr spectra. It turns out that A1 doping into NiAs type structure can carry out benefits for magneto-optical recording medium.
