General Frequency-Intensity Cooperation in Stable Multimode Lasers

    Abstract
  • In a homogeneously broadened laser model, we find a simple and general law for stable multimode operation, which shows a nonlinear cooperative relationship between the frequencies and intensities of laser modes.
