A RECURSION FORMULA FOR THE NUMBER OF STABLE ORBITS IN THE CUBIC MAP

Abstract
A recursion formula for the number of stable cycles in the cubic map is given by analysing different types of bifurcations and investigating the stability of all periodic orbits.
