STUDY ON THE ABNORMAL SIGNAL IN THE SATURATION ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY OF SODIUM ATOMS

Abstract
The abnormal saturation absorption signal of sodium atom D1 line has been observed in different experimental conditions. The explanation has been presented quantitatively using the velocity-selective optical pumping model.
