INVESTIGATION ON QUASICRYSTAL IN A1-Mn ALLOY BY HIGH RESOLUTION ELECTRON MICROSCOPY

Abstract
The structure of icosahedral quasicrystal in rapidly quenched Al-Mn alloy has been studied by electron diffraction and high resolution electron microscopy. A structure model is proposed and neighboring interatomic distances are given.
