STUDY ON THE ABNORMAL SIGNAL IN THE SATURATION ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY OF SODIUM ATOMS
HU Yuan-hui, FU Ji-shi
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 433-436 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (50KB) ( 590 )
The abnormal saturation absorption signal of sodium atom D1 line has been observed in different experimental conditions. The explanation has been presented quantitatively using the velocity-selective optical pumping model.
A MEASUREMENT ON ENERGY-POOLING COLLISION CROSS SECTION IN Mg
ZHANG Dao-zhong, CHENG Bing-ying, JU Rui, ZHAO Xiao-kang
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 437-440 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (47KB) ( 492 )
The energy-pooling collision cross section for the transfer from 3s3p1P to 3s4s3S of Mg has been determined by measuring the relative intensity of the fluorescence at 5184 Å and 2852 Å. The average cross section is (3.1±40%) x10-15cm2. By considering the influence of radiation trapping and other uncertain effects, the absolute uncertainty of our measurement is within one order of magnitude.

BULK INTERACTION BETWEEN IONIC CONDUCTOR AgI AND DISPERSED SECOND PHASE
CHEN Li-quan, ZHAO Zong-yuan, DAI Shou-yu
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 441-444 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (50KB) ( 426 )
The bulk interaction between two phases in AgI(η-Al2O3 or α-Fe2O3) has been investigated by means of electrical conductivity, DTA and Mössbauer spectra. It shows that both α→β phase transition of AgI and Morin transition of α-Fe2O3 influence each other.

THE GLOBALLY SINGULARITY-FREE SPACE-TIME OF SCHWARZSCHILD BLACK HOLE
ZHU Shi-chang, ZHU Jiong-ming, TANG Dai-xing
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 445-448 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (43KB) ( 518 )
It is proved in this paper that under proper coordinates the Gonzalez-Diaz metric together with the Schwarzschild metric constructs the globally singularity-free metric of Schwarzschild black hole which possesses horizon, but has no singularity. In this case the dominant energy condition is satisfied, and the results be regarded reasonable in physics.

ELECTRONIC STRUCTURES OF ATOMIC IONS WITH THE 4f ELECTRONS
ZHAO Zhong-xin, LI Jia-ming
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 449-452 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (50KB) ( 368 )
We here present our theoretical study on the average ground electronic configurations of atomic ions with the 4f electrons. There occur in-teresting configuration competitions which will have some effects on the isoelectronic scaling relations.

RESONANCE DIP OF PHOTOIONIZATION IN MAGNESIUM VAPOR
ZHANG Jing-yuan, LI Qiong-ru, YANG Jian, ZHAO Li-zeng*, NI Yu-xin*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 453-456 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (51KB) ( 512 )
A new experimental phenomenon - resonance dip(weakening) of multiphoton ionization in Mg vapor with 3s,3p 1P as an intermediate state has been observed. Photoionization and coherent radiation at 5183.7 Å, accompanied by ionization dip when Mg vapor pressure was high enough, were studied simultaneously as functions of vapor pressure, laser power density and buffer gas pressure. Possible contributions to ionization dip and coherent radiation are discussed.

IS 1D2(2.14GeV) A DIBARYON RESONANCE?
CHEN Hua-zhong, JIN Xing-nan, ZHANG Xi-zhen
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 457-460 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (53KB) ( 488 )
Based on the Arndt's phase shifts and conventional meson exchange theory, the existence of 1D2 (2.14GeV) dibaryon resonance is discussed.
IR SPECTRAL STUDY OF a-Si: H FILMS PREPARED BY H-DOPING EVAPORATION METHOD
PANG Da-wen, WANG Yi-ming, MA Zhen-hong*, CUI Shu-fan*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 461-464 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (50KB) ( 486 )
The IR difference spectra of a-Si:H films prepared by H-doping evaporation ( H. D. E. ) method were compared with those by glow discharge (G.D.) method. It has been found that the bonding H content of E.D.E. sample is comparable to that of G.D. sample. The behaviour of absorption bonds of dehydrogenated samples seems to show that the Si-H bonds in H.D.E. sample are more stable than those in G.D. sample.

THREE BODY INTERACTIONS IN ACOUSTIC VIBRATION OF A FINITE LATTICE
LI Jing-de(LEE Jingder)
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 465-468 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (53KB) ( 529 )
Equations of acoustic vibration of a finite lattice in two dimensions are solved taking into account the three-body interactions in nearest-neighbour approximation. The results obtained are compared with the orthogonal finite crystals.
LASER EMISSION OF F+3 COLOR CENTERS IN LiF CRYSTALS AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
ZHENG Li-xing, GUO Shao-zhang, WAN Liang-feng
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 469-470 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (27KB) ( 363 )
Laser emission of F+3 color centers in LiF crystal at room temperature (RT) is reported here for the first time.

SNEUTRINOS AND COSMOLOGICAL RESTRICTION
LI Xin-zhou, YU Feng
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 471-473 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (36KB) ( 416 )
We search the supersymmetric invariant action with tachyonic neutrino. We explore the possibility that the sneutrino is the lightest supersymmetry partner, to obtain m2v = g m2s - | m2v|. This assumption implies mv 2GeV from cosmological restriction.

STOCHASTIC QUANTIZATION OF FERMIONS ON LATTICE
XUE She-sheng, HSIEN Ting-chang
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 474-476 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (33KB) ( 654 )
The stochastic quantization approach is generalized to the case of fermions on lattice. The approximate approaches for solving Langevin equation are analysed.
A SUPER-BROADENED STIMULATED SCATTERING IN LIQUID-FILLED WAVEGUIDE WITH LONG GAIN LENGTH
HE Guang-sheng, TANG Ding-yuan, CAO Zhuo-liang, ZHOU Fu-xin, WANG Run-wen, LIU Song-hao
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1985, 2 (10): 477-479 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (42KB) ( 448 )
Using an intense visible laser pulse to excite the liquid-filled waveguide with a long gain length, we have observed a new stimulated-scattering with super-broadened spectral width (500cm-1) in addition to the sharp lines of SRS of the benzene or carbon-disulfide which is used as a filling liquid.
