CLASSICAL ANALOGUES OF QUANTUM BERRYS PHASE
SUN Changpu
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 481-483 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (36KB) ( 565 )
With the classical generalized harmonic oscillator as an example, we show that the analogues of the quantum Berry's phase can appear in the classical mechanic systems with adiabatically-changing parameters, which have the Schrödinger-type evolution equations. The corresponding guage structures are naturally induced in these systems.
STUDY OF BARYON PRODUCTION IN UPSILON DECAYS AND IN NONRESONANT e+e- ANNIHILATION AT lOGeV ENERGY
LIU Xining
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 484-487 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (50KB) ( 403 )
We have studied the production of baryon in decays of the upsilon resonance by a simple gluon splitting assumption. The calculated results show that the production rate of baryons is enhanced in direct upsilon decay compared to continuum, and the prediction agrees well with experiments.
STIMULATED RADIATIONS OF Ti ATOMS FROM PHOTOLYSIS OF TiC14
SHAN Jun, JIN Pei, SHE Yongbo, FU Kejian, ZHANG Zhisan
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 488-490 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (41KB) ( 498 )
Intense stimulated radiations at 547.7, 548.1, 548.7, 622.05, 622.1, and 621.5nm were observed wing UV laser pump in the region from 263.1 to 264.7nm. The stimulated lines from the excited states e3Fe2, 3, 4 were produced by the further excitation of Ti atoms formed in photolysis of Tic14 in gas phase. Stimulated Raman scattering of Ti atoms was also observed.
ZnO DOPED SODIUM SILICATE PREIONIZE N2 LASER
M. Montaser, F.Sabry*, S.A.Ibrahim
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 491-494 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (50KB) ( 419 )
An experimental study of the effect of ZnO doped sodium silicate thin film, used as a semiconductive preionizer on the output energy is presented. The output energy of the nitrogen laser increased by two folds. The performance of the preionizer can be controlled to match the discharge requirements.

CHEN Tianjie, CHOU Manhiu*, HUANG Xiangling, QIN Shaojing, YOU Jiangnan**
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 495-498 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (55KB) ( 441 )
The way to find the eigenfield of a negative unstable cavity filled with a radial variable and self-adjustable gain medium is suggested. The calculated results based on this method fit the experimental data of the Ne 633nm laser satisfactorily.

YAN Jiaren, ZOU Fengwu*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 499-502 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (42KB) ( 515 )
The expression of non-propagating solitary waves within the fluid in a rectangular trough has been obtained using the method of multiple scales, from which we can understand the picture of motion everywhere in fluid.
LATTICE DYNAMICS of 36Ar BY KEATING MODEL
ZI Jian, ZHANG Kaiming, XIE Xide
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 503-506 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (44KB) ( 404 )
Lattice dynamics of 36Ar are investigated by Keating model. Owing to the short-range character of the interactions in rare-gas solids, only the nearest neighbour interactions were taken into account. The calculated phonon frequencies and elastic constants are in good agreement with the experimental values. The maximum error for phonon frenquencies is 3.3% and for the elastic constants is 7%.
EFFECT OF MAGNETIC FIELD ON THE CHARACTERISTIC OF SILICON SINGLE CRYSTAL
MAO Zaixian, MA Zhenhong, ZHOU Shiren*, YE Shuichi*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 507-510 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (58KB) ( 627 )
The growth striation, the resistant homogeneity, and the oxygen concentration of silicon single crystal grown by both Transverse Magnetic Czochralski (MCZ) and Czochralski growth methods (CZ) were investigated. The oxygen concentration in MCZ silicon is more uniform and controllable. It is concluded that the Magnetic Czochralski method is an effective method to improve the quality of silicon single crystal.
STRANGE CONDUCTION BEHAVIOUR DURING CRYSTALLIZATION PROCESS OF AMORPHOUS IONIC CONDUCTOR IN Li2O-SiO2-V2O5 SYSTEM
CHEN Liquan*, C.Cros**, XUE Rongjian, WANG Lianzhong
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 511-513 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (46KB) ( 394 )
Some peaks have been observed in plot of conductivity versus temperature for amorphous ionic conductor in Li2O-SiO2-V2O5 system. It has been shown from X-ray and DTA data that the amorphous ionic conductors crystallize in steps. Every conductivity peak or conductivity enhancement was caused by a crystallization step.
PROPERTIES OF TRANSPORT CURRENT FOR POLYCRYSTALLINE TBCCO SUPERCONDUCTOR WITH HIGH DENSITY
DING Shiying, YU Zheng, YAN Jialie, QIU Li
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 514-517 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (49KB) ( 579 )
The measurements of current-voltage characteristic at various temperatures and applied fields have shown that resistanceless currents persist at fields up to 8T before flux flow resistance is detected for polycrystalline Tl2 Ba2 Ca2 Cu3 O10 (TBCCO) superconductor with high density. Significant improvement of the grainboundary properties and possibility of high ability of transport current have also been explored. The microstructure examination and magnetization measurements support strongly these results.
CLASSICAL HEISENBERG MAGNETIC CHAINS SHOWING CATIONIC SITE OCCUPATIONS CORRELATIONS
R. Georges, XU Qiang*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 518-521 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (47KB) ( 550 )
We propose a model for calculating the magnetic susceptibility of classical Heisenberg chains, showing nearest neighbor correlated cationic distributions. The result formally looks like expressions obtained for random chains where the neighboring cationic species are not correlated. In the present result the intervening scalar parameters are replaced, by vector and matricial expressions.
CURIE TEMPERATURE, MAGNETIC MOMENT, AND HIGH-FIELD SUSCEPTIBILITY OF AMORPHOUS Fe90-xSixZr10 ALLOYS
SHEN Baogen, ZHANG Zhiying, GU Benxi*, GUO Huiqun, ZHAO Jiangao
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 522-525 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (53KB) ( 519 )
The magnetization curves at 1.5K and thermomagnetization curves in the fields of about 450e for amorphous Fe90-xSixZr10 (x=0, 4, 7 and 10) alloys prepared by the drum spinning technique are measured with an eztracting sample magnetometer. At low Si concentration the amorphous Fe90-xSixZr10 alloys exhibit a large value of the high-field susceptibility, but the average magnetic moment per Fe atom μFe, and the Curie temperature, Tc, are quite small, compared with amorphous Fe87-xSixB13 alloys. This unusual behavior could be explained in terms of the presence of the antiferromagnetic state.
LOW TEMPERATURE PROPERTIES OF Tb-DOPED Sr1-xBaxNb2O6 (SBN) CRYSTALS
ZHANG Peilin, ZHONG Weilie, ZHAO Huansui, SONG Yongyuan*, CHEN Huanchu*
Chin. Phys. Lett. 1989, 6 (11): 526-528 .
Abstract   PDF(pc) (45KB) ( 498 )
Tb-doped SBN crystals were prepared by the Czochralski technique. Their dielectric, ferroelectric, and pyroelectric properties were studied. A low temperature phase transition between two polar phases was revealed by the anomalies of the dielectric and pyroelectric properties; the polar axis changes its direction during this transition. The point group of the low temperature phase may be mm2, m or 1.
