Abstract The surface growth kinetics and directed percolation processes in a ( 2 + 1)-dimensional ballistic deposition-reaction model are studied in this paper. As the probability P increases a transition of the morphologic structure is found, which results from the diffusion and the directed percolating processes of the particles.
