Relativistic Effects in Electron Capture of Ion-Atom Collision at High Energies

Abstract A relativistic extension for Blankenbecler-Goldberger approximation to the calculation of the electron capture processes in ion-atom collisions is developed. The results are compared with other methods and the relativistic effects are discussed. Some new conclusions are obtained.
