摘要The electronic density of state and atomic magnetic moment of the N2C4 cluster of DNA bases are studied. The results show that there are at least two metastable states around the ground state. The electronic structures of those states are found to differ from each other. The cluster exhibits semiconductor properties and antiferromagnetism in the ground state, while it exhibits ferromagnetism and metal properties in the metastable state.
